Read Analytics
Client Admins and Hiring Managers use Analytics to understand hiring work and progress. Start with the question you want to answer.
| View | Question it answers |
|---|---|
| Activity | What work was recorded during the selected period? |
| Current | Where do applications stand now? |
| Funnel Analytics | How far have applications progressed over time, and what proportion reached later stages? |
Check a report
Section titled “Check a report”- Open Analytics and choose the view.
- Select the Job and other relevant filters. In Activity, choose the reporting period.
- Read the headings and any help text for the figures you are comparing.
- Open a count’s details where available to see the records behind it. Select Export CSV if you need a spreadsheet copy.
Current is a snapshot. Funnel Analytics shows cumulative progress. The Activity reporting dates apply to work recorded in that period.
Understand different numbers
Section titled “Understand different numbers”For example, a candidate may have reached the interview stage last week and moved to offer this week. Last week’s Activity can show the interview-stage work. Current shows the application at offer. Funnel Analytics can count it among the applications that reached interviews as well as those that reached offer.
One person may have applications for several Jobs. Check whether a figure counts people, applications, interviews or individual feedback requests before comparing it with another figure. Also check whether ended or unsuitable applications are included.
Ask your Talent Partner about an unexpected figure after checking the view, filters and metric explanation. The glossary explains the main reporting terms.
